Oh where to start. COREY you could’ve said something and I could’ve given you advice on Paris and AMS. Just this much: Paris, during the summer, is dominated by tourists and those who work in touristy jobs. The real Parisians basically flee the city during that time. If you can order in English in a French restaurant, it’s usually sub-par because it caters to tourists and never expects its customers to come back. Grand Arc de la Defense is a great alternative to the Eiffel tower (or additional place to visit).

The Dutch and the Belgians disagree over who invented french fries, both consider it their invention which is why you see those french fries stalls everywhere.

The TGV (high speed train) has a cruising speed of circa 300km/h and can actually maintain that for a while because they have few stops in between.

Cabin crew has final authority about what gets on board and what doesn’t. So if they think your bag is too big, or if they do not like its color, they get to have you check it in. Sucks that it was left behind of course.

Uh think I had more but I am old and forgetful.

JOEL… I also forgot what I was going to comment on. Sorry.

BOTH OF YOU – EMPs basically fry the circuits in all unhardened electronics and you’ll have to fix them with new components. If the EMPs are truly global, that means building the tools to build the tools…. IIRC you’d have vacuum tube and older tech left, but nothing newer.

Oh, also. Terranova turned fun in the last episode, they added a nice twist to the plot. Of course they then cancelled it. Production value was good, actors were decent, sets were good, effects were good, blame here rests squarely with the writers and showrunner.
