Joel Radio #200: Jerry Eclipses Dick
Aug 22nd
Two titans of comedy dies this past week. Comedian/activist Dick Gregory dies Saturday and nightclub, movie and telethon star Jerry Lewis died less than twenty-four hours later. Joel and Corey Hall remember the legends including Jerry’s last dicky interview, his awful failed talk show, and his bizarre thoughts on the world in 2017. Joel met Dick Gregory twice and found things didn’t get better with age, as he remembers the brilliant gentle, hilarious comic and the bitter angry, pushed-into-it-by-his-family Dick from six months ago. Also, old friend Sal Demilio calls in to remember Jerry and Dick and give betting tips on the upcoming NFL season and the Mayweather/McGregor fight. Plus, Joel and Corey take in the eclipse, as show fave John Tenney calls in with his thoughts and explains how the paranormal community cashed in on the hysteria. If that wasn’t enough, Disney leaves Netflix, Seeso says goodbye, Viceland looks at stand-up comedy, and why Chik-fil-a not being open on Sunday was the worst idea ever.

Joel Radio #114: Three Gross Tastes That Taste Gross Together
Oct 2nd
The three most disgusting things on this show are not Joel, Corey and guest comedian Sal Demilio. It’s either General Mills’ retro repacking of the “Monster” cereals – Frute Brute, Boo Berry and Yummy Mummy, or Shaquille O”Neal’s new Soda Shaq creme sodas. Actually Shaq’s stuff is probably better on its own than the cereal, and we’re not saying that just ’cause Sal’s part of the company. Listen as the guys try all combinations and permutations of sweet sodas and sugary cereals as they discuss how to make it in the minor leagues of comedy, how to bet on the NFL and Corey’s recent culinary tour of New England. Corey claims the “foodie” aspect of his vacation was happenstance, but never let the facts get in the way of a good Facebook post of a plate of clams. Also, a documentary round-up with something for Beatles fans, the late great Levon Helm, an excellent magic doc you can watch for free, and another of an icon past. Plus, which streaming service is the best, breakfast around the world compared and the new SNL cast is the same as every other SNL cast.

Back after a long absence it’s a friend of ours, everybody’s favorite comedy good guy Sal Demilio, with a bag of holiday cheer for the fellas. So if you lose money, don’t blame him, but keep in mind he probably knows some people who can get you a loan. Then it’s on to Corey’s country X-mas in the hinterlands, while Sal and Joel swap stories of their traditional Italian family seasonal traditions. Lots of yummy pasta but what’s the deal with the freaking “seven fishes”? Also: Death pool pre-game, ghetto shopping malls, and the wonder of Eddie Mekka. Corey and Joel Radio Show #106: Tang in Space

Why does George consider Jay a back-stabber and does George’s endorsement of Craig Ferguson weaken his argument? Hear George’s own words skewer the big-chinned comic. Also, how crazy is that astronaut bitch and what would a guy need on a 900-mile drive? And what’s it like to “shoot” in space?. Plus, the world’s ugliest comedy club waitresses, Faygo wrestling, jobs that get you laid, and Norbit is the worst movie ever.

Corey and Joel Radio Show #62: Anniversary Extravaganza Part 2
Mar 29th
It’s part 2 of the anniversary show and there’s more mayhem. J. Chris Newberg plugs in and rocks out his musical comedy. We do more shots and the whole thing begins to unravel. The capper is a ferocious, hilarious roasting by PJ. Corey and Joel take it right between the eyes as the big guy spills his hatred all over the stage. PJ saves his best for German superfan, Nils; who traveled all the way across the Atlantic to hear Nazi jokes. Also, Sal Demilio entertains, we meet Bart – the owner of Club Bart, Bill Bushart sits down and girls take their tops off, or do they? It’s a booty-shaking finale to the best night ever.

Corey and Joel Radio Show #50: Bitchfunk Soda
Jan 11th
This week, comedian and goodfella Sal Demilio returns with his football playoff picks, analysis of the Death Pool and relationship advice for Joel. We also explore Latino comedy and why it’s so goddamn easy to write. We then share a mailing list extra that was really too funny for a limited audience: taste-testing a Jones Soda Holiday Sampler. Hear the crew from show #49, spitting and gagging on brussel sprout soda. Will Corey mix them all up on a dare? If there was a Latino working for Jones Soda he’d have have a rice and beans flavor! Wild and funny stuff for sure.
